I need a fishing line's worth - about 50ft. -  of a special line that I want to be part fishing line and part dog tag chain.

So it would look like this:

-------------OOOOOOO------------OOOOOOO---------------OOOOOOOO------------ ....and so on...

The "OOOO"'s are ferromagnetic beads and the "----"'s fishing line.

It is very difficult and time consuming to construct such a line by hand. The line gets all tangled up and it's very hard to rewind back on the spool because I'm forced to construct it in a way that is not exactly as seen in the above diagram.

I was wondering if there was an easier way to obtain such a line configuration. Does anyone know who could easily construct such a line by machine?
