The purpose of this thread I intend be twofold...

Community build a database of information for experimentation with plasmics...

Play with ideas on where plasmics could go... and make interesting lines of inquiry...

I have put up an interesting design and some information to analyse at your leisure...

Any experts knowing how to generate the required HV DC and RF frequencies economically for the home builder... a thread sharing your knowledge might be incredibly productive at this time...

Here is some basic info on RF...

http://www.vintage-radio.com/projects/signal-generator.html

One of these stimulating a RotoMax might create a very interesting reaction when a pulsed jet of high energy plasma enters the area of maximum fluid compression, inside the rotor,  and collides with the water jet ahead acting as the low energy mass flow buffer... the friction interaction, temperature balancing, and energy wave drag dynamics will be a fascinating study in themselves... a tip of an iceberg... and the energetics is any chef's soup ;)

Generate the primary trigger, balance the pressures within the priming cycle to provide timing and content by volume, manipulate the energy conversions of different fluids to desired energy potentials, detonate and shape the resultant fluid flow to produce thrust...

Good Times... Have Fun...  ;D

Hi Everyone,

The PRotoMax System incorporates a Tesla Turbine Water Pump, powered by a DC Motor prime mover, to generate water mass flow through the PRotoMax.

The Everyman Wet Cell generates the primary trigger for compression via the HELP before injection into the PHELIS for Plasma variation and detonation functions. The HELP is powered by a DC Motor which also powers the Air Compressor for PHELIS Nitrogen injection. The HELP and Turbine Air Compressor are coupled via a magnetic slip clutch.

The PRotoMax is mounted within the water sump of the system.

PRotoMax fluid exhaust is vented into a reservoir chamber where it attains a pressure balance in the system via steam regulation, maintaining the system water level, and is regulated via turbine back pressure once the system is up to operating temperature.

The Steam Injection Variant allows the steam pressure to be utilised for either secondary injection into the PRotoMax or to power the Tesla Turbine Water Pump from Steam allowing you to remove the second DC Motor from the system.

Hi Everyone,

I have been trying to move on and work on other commitments but my mind will not let me until I finish this thread. It is the last in the series, requires completion, and so without further ado let's get on with it.

Hi Everyone,

Ultrasonic Atomisers will allow creation of a fine water vapor in the range 0 - 10 microns, similar to steam. This is an option for venturi injection into a Plasma Injector by piggy backing one of the other pressurised gas flows in the priming cycle.

Here is a youtube video showing vapor formation in slow motion, very cool  ;D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rN-OcMSwS2I

Here are some off the shelf ultrasonic atomisers with usefull technical sheets at a reasonable price :)

http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/81205.pdf

Atomisation is important because a very small particle size means less bonds to break to release the stored energy.

Hi Everyone,

A schematic of the Plasma Spray Process which can be modified to provide the compression and expansion phases we require for use in a Plasma Injector to control and shape the fluid flow.

Hi Everyone,

http://www.gordonengland.co.uk/ds.htm

A schematic of the Detonation Plasma Spray Process which is the principle that the Plasma Injector is based upon. The function is further improved by the De Laval shaped insert. The powder addition will no longer be required. The Nitrogen purge may work very well as part of the priming cycle. Fairly simple to adapt this known technology to Plasma Injector designs. Note the water cooled barrel which is already incorporated into PRotoMax designs via mounting within the water sump of the system and so both injector and rotor are permanently submerged.

Hi Everyone,

Air may not itself be pure enough to provide the Nitrogen we need without some contamination that would foul the Injector and Rotor. It will be possible to incorporate a fractional distillation process to separate the air into its different gases using known technologies.

Schematic of a multiple effect desalination plant. The first stage is at the top. Pink areas are vapor, lighter blue areas are liquid feed water. Stronger turquoise is condensate. It is not shown how feed water enters other stages than the first. F - feed water in. S - heating steam in. C - heating steam out. W - Fresh water (condensate) out. R - brine out. O - coolant in. P - coolant out. VC is the last-stage cooler.

Hi Everyone,

Now let's talk about the composition of the sea:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abundances_of_the_elements_%28data_page%29#Sea_water

http://goldfever.com/gold_sea.htm

http://www.wisegeek.com/can-gold-be-extracted-from-seawater.htm

As we can see there are many different types of metals and minerals to be harvested from the sea, if an economical way can be found, the most obvious being salt.
