New forum software update done

Hi All,
I have updated the forum software and the plugin to the latest versions.

Now we also have the much wanted image preview thumbnails, so that you will
see bigger uploaded pictures only as about 400x300 sized thumbnails and if you want to
see the full image, just click it.
If it is then still bigger than your screen size you can still click the arrows in the right lower
corner of the picture, then it will expand to the original size.

If you will find any errors please post here or send me an email.

P.S: Some more features are still coming and I still  ponder, whether to move the forum to
a WordPress / BuddyPress installion, cause there are much more possibilities with the right plugins...

Looks good.

I just wanted to know why the site is no longer Firefox friendly when posting.

Everything seems to work with IE but with Firefox there are some problems.

When posting a post.

- no "bold" or other buttons.
- "more attachments" does not work

I went on the SMF site and opened their forum post page and the buttons are there and the more attachments expands as it is supposed to. There must be a configuration issue with yours.

Only "Quick Reply" feature works properly for those who want to reply. The "Reply" button as well as the "Modify" option opens a page without the "Post" button, thus disabling to post or modify anything.

 Thanks Gyula, I did see that under the Navigation links, but it had the
Recent Topics section both before and after the Updates. Now after a
couple of refreshes it's back to the way I like it with just the Updates block! 
Not sure who or how it was fixed but it's good!

Yes, there were still some settings not coirrect for the blocks, I just corrected this.

Just use from now on:

http://www.overunity.com/pages/update/

We have now also Search engine optimized URLs, so it is easier to see,
what the threads are about !

@stefan and all,
I use FireFox on this borrowed computer and I prefer how the system handles over IE.   I was rather put out that some of the text editing features were missing in this new version.   The smileys don't move on their own any more, for instance.   But at least it still runs with FireFox.

Says the files is to big even if I know they are small gifs.

Okay, now it seems to work.

Was a wrong statement in the .htaccess file

I had
php_value upload_max_filesize 50Mb
there but this seems not to work here at my hoster...
