I found this on Youtube today. I am pretty electrically ignorant as it is, but this just confused me even more. I hope someone can explain to me why the current stops in the video.

His meter shows no current but yet changes clips to not destroy it from... heat?  Maybe someone could enlighten me here. But if its heat without current then is he not technically stripping energy from the magnets and it doubles back to the battery?
