Hello All,
 

This thread is for one stop shopping (figurative) for all replication and experimentation information that has been garnered over the years, and all relevant calculators, spreadsheets, posts, etc.  My prayer and desire is for other experimenters and replicators to assist in this project.
All comments may be posted on my main TPU thread, as this will stay locked and sticky, for easy access as a reference library.
It will be a "work in progress".

CONTROL COILS PAGE
 
This page is for all things Control coils. 
 
Control coils MUST be aluminum.  The aluminum gives up free electrons to the collectors.  They can not be copper coated, but must be insulated aluminum wire.  I am using 16 awg.  Two sizes of Aluminum wire work best for winding the collector segments.  Please see the "All inclusive calculator download" on page one for exact diameter sizes of aluminum wire to use, and more importantly, the EXACT lengths to use.
 
The length of aluminum wire, in conjunction with that of the collector segments, are cut to sound resonance to give a beat frequency of 7.34 Hz.  See calculator on page one for more details.
 
This page is a work in progress, and many links will be added in the future as I have time.
 
The inventor says aluminum.  NO other type of wire for the control coils will work, for many reasons.

Below is a picture of the winding method around the collector segments.  Wind your control coils Counter Clock Wise (CCW) if living in the Northern Hemisphere, and Clock Wise (CW) if living in the Southern Hemisphere.

Addition 3: 
I would suggest changing L2 on the Control Coil Calculator page to 47 mm.  This would have extended the control coil two from coming up a little short and causing me to have some gaps towards the end.

Addition 4:
I used 1.29 mm aluminum wire for control windings 1 and 2.  I am using 1.63 mm aluminum wire for control winding 3.  a "negative" number on the control coil calculator is "length left over".  So give yourself a little room.  I am changing L3 to 103 mm for more winding space.
 
 
Addition 5:  Control Coil Resistance
Bottom Control Coil
R = 0.29
Second Control Coil
R = 0.55
Third Control Coil
R = (Still working on getting the length right and then will post R here)
 
 
Addition 6:  Control Coil Inductance
Bottom Control Coil Winding:
L = 11.2 uH
 
Second Control Coil Winding
L = 26.0 uH
 
Third Control Coil Winding
L = (Will post this up when it is remeasured to the proper length)
