Oh, P.S....

A few other things I have learned...
A.  When experimenting with a removable iron core(s), make them 3 to 4 inches longer, per side then B2.  In other words, when placed through the center of B1, three inches or so, should stick out past both ends of B2.  This will substantially raise the Q.
B.  Make sure that B1 (inner solenoid) is "smaller" in length then B2.  This is very important, so that to B1 (the "observer") B2 appears as an infinitely long Solenoid.

There, that should help...

Cheers,

Bruce

Hi Bruce!

The parallel set remind me the Leedskalnin's perpetual motion holder: we start an self-oscillation and it never stop...

Cheer, Khwartz.
