PM classification...
« on: September 18, 2014, 08:27:44 PM »
.....related to three classes of variable/oscillatory leveragea , as a basic principle to imagine and test three classes of ( self) running gravity powered devices , has an "on the edge" tested design , at :

Maybe , ABtheHammer's inspiration is "responsible" for the up-here  Class 2 variable leverage.....if he will succeed it.

A  Class 3 variable leverage ( not tested ) , has a short depiction , at :

      www.geocities.ws/iacob_alex/Some_Drafts/text036.jpg

A different stimulation of the mind ( Remzi Eyupoglu ) for something on the "border" of a Class 1 variable leverage ( if he make a simple " cut"....playing two masses , only ) , at :

      https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Upp-Xr5JAg0

Without the same " necessary cut ", you can take a look at the test of the up-here design ( veproject1) :

So , with a such variety of lever(age)s ,we can imagine and test a lot of variable/oscillatory devices...let's hope , some of them to be "self".

Again , Goethe's quote : " In all things it is better to hope than to despair ".

.....can be a natural "extension" , of an old provocative statement (a quote of Archimedes...) ,at:
 https://edublognss.wordpress.com/2013/04/15/levers/
..."Give me a place to stand and with a lever , I will move the whole world".
So, all we need : a fulcrum and a long enough arm of a lever...but what kind of lever? Here , we have again a classification ( Class 1 , 2 and 3...) ?
