Firstly, like your videos and the synth is cool. I'm defining the Earth Battery as not being free energy basically because it relies on physical compounds like water. if there was a drought and the soil became too dried out, the Earth Battery wouldn't work.

All of your out side lights??? 2V@19mA can only power one LED normally...

Can this Earth Battery be put in series? (i.e. if you had 6 of them, would you get 12V@19mA? or in paralel would you get 2V@1.14A?)

Ah, but if you use the Joule Thief circuit and a super cap, you can run 400 leds from it easily, and also you can light a 4 foot floro tube or run a Bedini motor. The EB or EER's output is just the beginning. Our good friend Jim (Electricme) has obtained over 40 volts by placing them in series in a very unique way.

my way can be done with any 1 wire and a source .. : )
you can even go rotary neozap to coil and then to ground ... harvest the SPARK DUH! the way my units work i offer them no choise but to operate at the freq supplyed .. hence they are not freq dependent!

No, it is actually an earth energy receiver and we have come to call them EER's instead of earth battery. (To obtain the patent, Stubblefield had to change the name of his device to Earth Battery as the patent office did not understand how his device really worked) They operate by receiving the telluric currents in the earth. It is not galvanic otherwise the process would consume the materials which does not happen when properly built and installed in the correct alignment in the earth.

If you get a chance, check out some of the work we have done in the earth battery related topics here on OU. Lasersaber holds the record as of now for output on his device. This is a fascinating research area and none of us knows all there is to know about them as of this time and I believe more good discoveries are yet to come.

Weird Bill, the last earth battery video i saw used a galvanized rod I assumed it was necessary. Not really sure how telluric current would work without water though

Google Telluric currents and read the work done by the Russians in this field. And, as I mentioned, check some of the many topics here dealing with these cool devices. You will see why I call this free energy. It may actually be more like "free to me" energy but this would depend on everyone's definition which never really seems to be in agreement. Then, you add supercaps and JT circuits and who knows where this might end up? Some amazing things have been done here already with these devices and there is more to come.

An anode and cathode stuck in the ground is a earth battery. The NS coil is different. Its an electrostatic induction coil. It looks evident to me that its using the radiant energy part of the current flow to operate the coil like NS did. You do need a good location for the telluric current flow. NS emphasized this.
