Nothing gets your attention like cold hard cash.

I have come across a challenge.  The winner gets a cold hard Ten Million Dollars (before taxes.)

The challenge?  Run a gas powered generator (examples below) on pure water and water alone for 100 straight hours.

Rules:

1: Any modification can be made to your generator.  Remove the carburetor, alter the carburetor.  Anything, except that it must run on its own with just pure water.  No outside hoses or controls.  No Gasoline!

2: The water must be pure with the exception of adding a small amount of something like KOH or NaOH to allow the water to carry current.   The exhaust must pass California exhaust emissions standards current today.

3: You can split the water into any form of hydrogen and oxygen by electrolysis from the power of the generator.  You can use any volts/amps in either AC or DC current that is available from the generator.  If you store created hydrogen and oxygen to then reuse in the system, you must store gases in approved containers.  All fittings and hoses also need to be approved for the materials being handled.

4: You can use a common automotive battery as part of the system.  It is suggested you choose an electric start generator as this will gave a battery system already at your disposal.  You can increase the size of the battery system as long as the running generator puts off enough current to recharge the battery's in a normal manor.

5: You must preregister your intention to make such a device with an agreement to relinquish three copies of your working unit.  One unit goes to the National Press Club, one unit goes to the United States Patent Office with the patent holder name being listed as The Boys and Girls Clubs Of America as 51% share holder and yourself as being the remaining 49% share holder, and one unit goes to the monetary sponsor of the challenge which will remain forever nameless.

6: No funds will be advanced to you except the winning of the prize should you make such a device as described.  In the event two or more winning entries are submitted, they will share in the prize in the amounts to be awarded based upon simplicity of the systems and the efficiency of the units.  Your profits from your 49% of your interest in the project will be paid in regular instalments to your bank account.  Why give away 51% of your earnings of a billion dollar invention?  Good Karma and millions of deserving kids is why. 

7: In the event of any circumstance beyond our control, your control, be it Gods or lightning strikes, no mater what, the presenter and/or sponsor of this challenge is not liable for any direct or indirect consequence pertaining to this challenge.  You are totally on your own till such time as you present us with a working unit and we give you the cash prize.

Go away?  No problem, this offer does go away.  Read the rules.   On the other hand, if you have something positive to post, please do.  That is what this site is all about.  Helping us get over OIL.

In round numbers, you have 90 days.

The problem as I see it is no person will take this challenge seriously.  Lets just say, for the sake of argument, the offer is not real.  What would you be out?  You would have a machine that operates outside OIL for the most part that gives free energy for taking the time to split a liquid water into two mingled gases.   This machine would be worth more than any one lump sum payment. 

The offer is a solid one.  The only thing that is needed is someone with his thoughts set into motion.  Are you that person?  I doubt the three VI's (the first word as a hint is Village) posting above are going to step up to the plate.  Easier to just criticize and make noise.

Are you going to step up to the plate? It's been done many times, but, those people are either dead, hiding or bought off. How did you find this offer? I wonder why there is a time limit on something so valued? That's like saying... "Sell me what I really want but you only have 100 days to sell it to me otherwise I have given up and declared it impossible because I am too rich and too stupid to read let alone get off my fat ass and try to do it myself." I myself, haven't done it as well as Stan Meyer, Daniel Dingel, Andrija Puharich and the list goes on... But I am trying, and I will succeed! I don't care about the money, I just want to be energy independent and share my knowledge with my fellow humans for nothing more than the satisfaction of doing it. If he takes off the 90 day time limit and keeps his 10,000,000 cold cash(before taxes) I'll give it to him for free. My only stipulation is he has to build it himself.

Thats the oddest requirement I've ever read in one of these offers.

NO ONE OWNS 1%! Let alone 51% of the rights. Its open source! Free to all! Cost of knowledge = 0$! Use your 10mil to produce and sell units when its time. Anyone will be able to build and sell it. No market cornering or artificial price hikes.

I don't think you fully realize how that technology would be better off when given to the whole wide world all at once, when compared to giving control over its production to just one private company. Do you see the different? It's a very silly requirement in this kind of research.

If you look at  "lincolninked"s posts you will see little to no  input on any subject other than Pointing fingers, MIB threats , Well written sarcasm , BS offers , Stirring general trouble , The "You can't do it that way" scenario  and so on ....
Also he has clearly stated that he would never show picture or videos of anything he might find. I strongly believe he is not a builder or a study of any technology . It seems to me he is here for one resign. This he explains very well . He is after technology, not part of it!

If the guy has 10 milion to give away why does he not start his own Lab and take everything he reads here/Internet ,and build it. Or hire people to build it ?   Hmmm
What would you guys do If you already had 10 million to give away ,Build a Lab?
It just does not add up..

well,  10 mill would buy a lot of R&D.  If his sponsor is so willing to front this kind
  of cash it seems to me they could form their own venture.

I suggest you watch over your own Karma and not worry so much about everyone else's.

If you can build the machine as stated, do so and collect.  If you cannot, don't trouble your little mind any further about it.  Put up or .... .. as the saying goes.

We have been contacted by several people interested in the project with one gentleman saying he has such a machine. 

The psychics are possible.  It will however take a focused mind with the desire to conquer a spacific goal.

Remember the X prize?   Many thought that was not possible.  Just goes to show there are Dick's and there are dick heads.
